"Is this 1998?"

Haha, didn't even realize that. '98 was 31-24, but this time they will each squeak out an extra FG!

Yes, a lot of people have been doubting Green Bay lately, but you can't count them out. Rodgers and Peyton are the 2 best QB's right now, and I see them both making it to the SB. Falcons are a good bet too, but I think Ryan will fall short again. It's the truly elite QB's that consistently bring their teams further than others. All the pieces have to fall into place just perfectly for teams like the Ravens, Falcons, or 49'ers to win it all. When you have someone like Peyton, Rodgers, or Brady, they can almost single-handedly drive their team to victory.

And based on how many times I've heard Mark McGwire's name the last day or so, I think it may just be 1998.

Yep, i appreciate your observations, the only rookie to win in the big house was Kurt Warner with the Rams in 2000 and even though Brady's won three, Peyton and Rodgers one each, defense plays a huge role in post season games, add to the mix the home field advantage, which is also a big plus this time of year.

SF, Denver and Green Bay all play outdoors on grass. Not only is Seattle in the Georgia Dome this weekend, Superbowl 47 is played in the Superdome.
